This was an interesting fusion between Italian/Japanese? I can't really tell. The spicy bacon pasta was very tasty. The bacon ramen had a light broth that tasted almost like minestrone? The creme brulee was perfect. An interesting combination of flavors and cuisine. Add Thai iced tea and hot tea for roughly 60 with tips. Service was prompt and attentive.

Outstanding! This place definitely lives up to its rating. Don't let their small menu fool you. Everything we ordered was reasonably priced and VERY VERY good. Just their brussel sprouts alone were exploding with flavor. What really made it amazing was all of our entrees: pad Thai, fried chicken mango salad, spicy bacon pasta, and squid ink pasta. Everything, and I mean everything, was extraordinary! Our server was very nice and provided us with their favorites. I would most definitely come back!

Fresh, cheap, and tasty food! The price is amazing, and the taste is even better! Must try their Brussel sprouts and fried chicken! 10/10 would recommend! #Food #Restaurant #Foodie #BrusselsSprouts #FriedChicken #Delicious #CheapEats

The food was amazing. Ordered the spicy seafood black squid ink pasta and the bacon ramen. Both dishes were plated nicely and the flavor was just perfect. It wasn't too salty and it was a good amount of food. The creme brulee was also fantastic - sweet without being too sweet and was very smooth and creamy

We tried a few things and they were all absolutely delicious. My favorite was the chicken mango salad. It was not too spicy for my mom but had enough flavors and textures for me. The squid ink pasta with seafood also stood out. The thai basil really adds a nice unique flavor.

I have been here twice in the last couple of weeks and I think it will be my new favorite lunch spot. I have had the bacon mushroom pasta and the salmon green curry pasta. Both were very tasty! The menu is small but everyone (even with dietary restrictions) found something that worked.

I've lived in Ithaca for the last 4 years, and Hakacha is hands down the best restaurant in Ithaca. No others even come close, period. Their salmon squid ink pasta, brussels sprouts, and mango chicken salad is to die for. I'm writing this review because I'll be graduating, and I don't want this restaurant to die out because it's such a hidden gem.
